Practice Video Shots

Skateboard Practice Clip

In this clip you see a in focused shot of the person riding a skateboard, this one worked perfectly as the frame of the shot was crisp and you could see the detail of the shot, However before this we tried this shot we would try it but the person riding the skateboard was not in focus so for a film this would be shown as unprofessional.

Clock Practice Shot

We would struggle with height with this shot as we wanted it looked steady and professional, at the start the clock was too high and the camera would not be tall enough making it look like a low angle but we then moved the clock and moved the camera in order for it to be as the level. We would use a focus pull for this as i felt the blurred shot would bring a eery feel to the shot.

Low angle Bottle and Legs

In this shot we used a focus pull , this being of a bottle and a leg, this would show the bottle being in focus then smoothly changing to the leg, i feel this was are most successful shot as the shot was smooth and the transition of the bottle to leg worked well

Phone

In this shot we used a Fig rig this would allow us to move with the camera without it looking ruff, in this shot we decided to use the fig rig, walking away from the phone, i feel we could of done this better with the phone as i felt that we could of used the movement slower as i felt we rushed with the shot, this would of failed in a thriller genre as it wouldn't build tension in a scene

Font Use

Font Use

There was a huge selection of fonts to use from. one of the sources that we used was 'Dafont' this had many different styles of wording and interesting fonts that we could use in are production adverts and film.

I felt this font was suitable for my genre and target audience as i saw it as quiet bold and if it was to be used with a bold color the font would stand out. Also i feel that the font could symbolize to the audience the genre that where trying to get across.

When looking at fonts I came across a font called Gang Wolfik I felt this was different to Rhum banane as It brought a abstract feel to the production opening sequence, however we thought a crazy title would be different and appeling for the beginning.

Boom Box was a interesting font, as it was bold and spaced out when it came to the actual text I feel this would be good as it looked Big and spaced out it would defiantly get the audiences attention especially if it was used with a bright colour.
