Target Audience Of The Film Missed Call
For are film 'Missed Call' we wanted to make sure that the audience was entertained not only with the plot of the film but also the target audience could relate to the establishments and the characters.
We felt that because are actors of the film are all teenagers, it would only make sense for the target audience to be 15-30, We felt this would be are target audience as in the film you would see the characters doing stuff that are target audience could understand more then a more elderly audience. Also i feel that the audience would be more for a british audience and would i feel, be more successful in are country as scenes from are film e.g. the shot from above shows the two characters in costume and a environment that would be more suitable for a british citizen, as its more relatable and from this scene its a mugging so audience could understand the situation more.
However i think in more detail it would appeal to teens and people in there early twenties. because the film shows issues that could entertain them. violence, gangs etc. Also we want the film to have icons from it people that the audience can see as sort of hero, someone to look up to, so Aaron (played by me) can be a main character that the audience like. The character shown above is Trevor, he was the main character of Kidulthood and had the same role as Aaron is are film. at the end of the film he is murdered and audiences didn't like this as he had the characteristics of a leader a black male who has control. this is what we wanted in are film.
